JR. Board

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated high school students to join our nonprofit organization's Junior Board. The Junior Board will be responsible for providing input and ideas on our organization's operations, fundraising events, and community outreach efforts. As a member of the Junior Board, you will work closely with  board members to help us achieve our mission of improving the lives of those in need!

Responsibilities

  • Attend monthly  virtual meetings to discuss and brainstorm ideas for fundraising events and community outreach efforts

  • Collaborate with other board members to plan and execute fundraising events and other initiatives

  • Participate in our organization's community outreach efforts by representing the organization at community events and spreading awareness about our mission and programs

Requirements 

  • Must be at least in 10th grade and attending Central Islip High School

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Commitment to our organization's mission and values

  • Availability to attend monthly board meetings and participate in events
